14 Regional Workshops on Biological Diversity Laws to be conducted across India under the UNDP-GEF-NLSIU(Global ABS Project)
Fourteen Regional Workshops on Biological Diversity Laws would be conducted across India under the UNDP- GEF (Global ABS Project) on “Strengthening Human Resources, Legal Frameworks and Institutional Capacities to Implement the Nagoya Protocol”, for which NLSIU is the lead technical agency.
These workshops would be conducted across states ( Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Karnataka , Delhi etc. ) with the objective of creating awareness and outreach regarding the laws relating to Biological Diversity and compliances that are required to be followed by relevant stakeholders.
The First Regional Workshop would be conducted by the University of Jammu on the 29th and 30th of November, 2018.
